This is my first time to participate and I’ve been looking forward to it! Here’s a quick rundown of our history.
We’ve been married for nearly 8 years, and TTC for a little over 3 years with a diagnosis of MFI. We thought our problems were solved with varicocele repair surgery only to find out over a year (and a wasted IUI) later that I had a huge polyp. We kicked off 2010 with a hysteroscopy to get that removed, then we were put on a 3 month probation waiting period. We’re currently in the 2ww after our long-awaited IUI and are not feeling particularly hopeful.
Thanks for stopping by – it helps so much to know we’re not alone in this.
Welcome to ICLW! Hoping and praying that this cycle works for you!
Happy ICLW!
The waiting is the worst. I had surgery in December and this cycle is the first that we can TTC again.
Welcome to ICLW!!! I hope that this IUI cycle ends up working out for you. 🙂
Hey there!
Ugh, how frustrating that it took so long to get the right diagnosis. I’m in the IUI boat too. I really hope this is the magic cycle for you 🙂
Welcome to ICLW-it is a great experience!
Welcome to ICLW! This whole IF thing sucks, but it helps so much to know that we aren’t alone.
I hope you get good news this cycle!
The waiting never ends girl. But hpe it passes quickly and this IS THE time for you. Happy iclw!
Welcome to ICLW! It’s nice to find lots of other folks in the ALI community- a great chance to make connections. Good luck with your 2ww 🙂
Happy ICLW!

Even on the most trying of days, I never am ungrateful or unappreciative of the kids I did get even though my fertility is low. TG for my kids and good luck on your journey.
I hope this 2WW will bring some much needed good news! I wasn’t hopeful with my last cycle & it brought a BFP. (Didn’t end well but that’s not the point – the point is even when you aren’t hopeful, there is always hope.)

I am new to ICLW as well. I hope you found some great blogs as you hoppped around.
Happy ICLW! This is my very first ICLW as well and I have “met” a lot of great people. Thanks for stopping by my blog. Good luck for the future.
We’ve also been married almost 8 years, trying for the past 4, dealing with MFI that we hoped would be corrected after varicocele surgery, but then learned my high FSH was also a problem. I read your more recent posts and I’m so sorry about the BFN 🙁 It’s like a punch to the gut every time, isn’t it?
Does MFI stand for what I think it does? Or is that just added humor? Lubyou.
MFI = male factor infertility
What did you think it was? : D
